The vibrant stem coloration contrasts beautifully with the variegated leaves and adds interest during drab winters. Attractive white fruit follows the flowers into summer and is regarded as ornamental as the blooms. Develops into a nice thicket thats ideal for hedging. Tolerates wet areas.
