D'Anjou is a large pear, green in color with a yellow blush, and firm, white, juicy flesh. They are very good when eaten fresh, but can also be used for juice, sauce, jams and drying. These pears keep exceptionally well; their best flavor is realized when stored 1-2 months. Ripens in September. Very hardy and productive. Pollinate with another pear tree.
