Mild, sweetly flavored Shiro is known for its large round bright yellow form. Its crisp, juicy, yellow flesh is excellent for fresh eating, cooking, canning, preserves, and desserts. One of the earliest ripening plums, this fruit ripens in late July into August and is a productive, consistant bearer. Trees are spreading rather than upright. Pollinate with Santa Rosa or another plum. Clingstone.
