Baby Blue Spruce are grown from seed, not grafted.A very blue conical spruce that matures somewhat smaller than the average Colorado Blue Spruce but larger than it's cousin 'Baby Blue Eyes Blue Spruce'...a grafted conifer. Because it is grown from seed the trees vary slighty in habit (some are more tall and slender and some are shorter and somewhat broader.) All in all this is a fantasitc accomplishment for a grower to be able to produce trees that are a consistent blue color without grafting (cloning) Hardy to -40°F Maximum Elevation: 9,000 Feet.
