Product Description

This fast-growing, aggressive vine climbs as well as creeps as it clings to walls and other surfaces for a quick cover. Small forked tendrils tipped with small strongly adhesive pads enable this vine to reach heights of over 40 ft. Flowers are small and greenish, produced in clusters in late spring, maturing into small hard purplish-black berries which are an important food source for birds in winter. Dark green leaves turn brilliant orange-red in the fall. Can be pruned heavily to control growth at any time of year. Deciduous. A very easy plant to grow.
Mature height: 40 ft +
Hardy to -40°F
Maximum elevation: 9,500 ft
