Product Description

Cortland is an excellent dessert and processing apple, sweet with a hint of tartness and tender white flesh. At is best when eaten soon after being picked, since the sweet flavor and crispness fade quickly. A large red-striped apple best described as juicy, this apple is great for fruit plates and garnishes because it won't turn brown quickly when cut. This apple blooms mid-season and will pollinate all other early blooming apple varieties, mid-season varieties and late-season varieties. A heavy bearer.
Hardy to -30°F
Maximum Elevation: 8,500 ft.
