Malus sylvestris 'Royal Gala'

Be the first to review this product

Product Description

This medium-sized apple has lots of snap and juice and comes from a strong, compact-growing tree. When ripe in mid-October, the fruit is yellow with red to pinkish-orange stripes. Royal Gala apples are fairly resistant to bruising and are sweet, grainy, with a mild flavor and a thinner skin than most apples. They are also considered to be a very soft eating apple due to their lack of crispness. Semi-dwarf trees are grafted onto M7 (Malling 7A) roostock.
Hardy to -30°F
Maximum Elevation: 8,500 ft.
