| Description | Hania produces striking, 8" , bicolor blossoms, velvety purple-red with pale pink margins, that cover this shorter growing variety. These star-shaped flowers appear in a first flush on the previous season's growth in early summer, with a second flush on new growth later in the summer. Can be pruned back every second or third year to just above a set of buds about 6-8 inches from the ground to allow it to rejuvenate. Perfect for trellises, fences, and arbors as well as patio containers. Mature Height: 4-6 ft. Hardy to -30°F Maximum Elevation: 6,500 ft. |
