| Description | Emperor™ Ginkgo is a seedless selection that features a strong central leader and excellent branching character. Medium green foliage turns to bright yellow in autumn. It develops a uniform oval to broadly pyramidal crown as it matures at a height of about 50 feet with a spread of 35 feet. Hardiness is USDA Zone 4. Chicagoland Grows® introduced this cultivar to the nursery trade after the parent tree (growing at a private residence in Woodstock, IL) was identified by Berthold Nursery as a superior specimen.
