| Description | This very productive grape has seedless blue-black fruit that has smaller berries and clusters than the Concord, but whose fruit is similar in color and flavor. It ripens slightly earlier than the original, usually about late September. Highly regarded as a pie grape, excellent for fresh eating, jam and jelly. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, but likes good drainage. Mature Height: 10-12 ft. Hardy to -30°F Maximum Elevation: 7,500 ft. |
