Product Description
Eastern Concord is a reliable producer and a vigorous grower, one of the oldest cultivated American grape varieties still commonly grown. Medium size clusters of aromatic, blue black fruit ripen mid to late season and are useful for eating, juice, jelly and wine. Skin separates easily from the fruit. Self-pollinating. Prune all grapes hard in late winter. It's best to train the stronger of two canes that develop from the plant to a strong stake, five to six feet tall. Remove any suckers growing from the base of the canes.
