Gold Bar Dwarf Japanese Silver Grass (Maiden Grass-Miscanthus)

Dense, dramatic, horizontal gold banding highlights every bright green leaf from crown to tip on this strikingly beautiful ornamental grass. Gold Bar has a compact, upright habit that is topped in the fall by many tall, upright stems and feathery, burgundy-hued silvery plumes that soften and curl as they dry. Foliage dries to a wheat color, remaining attractive through the winter. Cut back before new growth appears in the spring.
