| Description | Green foliage is highlighted by dramatic horizontal golden bands on this very upright silvergrass. The banding is most pronounced when plants are grown in full sun and given occasional watering. Reddish-bronze plumes rise above the foliage, becoming fluffy as they mature. Foliage turns to a reddish-gold in the fall that persists through the winter. Suitable as a specimen plant or in groups. Hardy to -20°F Maximum Elevation: 7,000 ft. |
