| Description | The 'Ann' magnolia tree is a member of the Little Girl series from the National Arboretum. 'Ann' was selected especially for its late bloom (mid-April to early May) avoiding the hazards of late frost. It has lightly scented red-purple, 7-9" flowers that emerge from beautifully tapered buds. Best grown in normal garden soil and full sun. Hardy to -40°F Maximum Elevation: 6,000 ft. |
