Windy City Ornamental Onion

A dwarf variety that's good for small spaces but is especially attractive when planted in masse. 2" violet-purple globe shaped flowers atop green and purple stems are abundant midsummer and last for a solid month. After the blossoms fade, the seed heads persist into winter adding interest. Attractive to pollinators when not much else is flowering while also repelling deer and rabbits.
