| Description | This 1987 AARS winner started the Meidiland® Family! This vigorous and tough rose has beautiful clusters of 2.5-3" shell pink blooms with the aroma of apple on arched stems that begin in the spring and do not stop until late fall. An everblooming shrub of distinctive beauty, with lush dark foliage edged subtlly in red contrasting against the bright orange-red seed hips in the fall — adding drama to the winter landscape. Upright, arching stems create a perfect broad hedge or low screen. Ideal for the tops of banks, against walls or used in mass plantings and borders. In 2003, Bonica® was the first shrub rose voted into the WFRS Rose Hall of Fame. An own root rose. Hardy to -30°F Maximum Elevation: 7,000 ft. |
