Product Description
Meyer's Blue Spruce has an attractive blue-green hue with a dense pyramidal habit and short needles. Refined form with a medium growing habit is tolerant of urban conditions and is more disease resistant than other spruce species. Discovered in Western China in 1908 and named after Frank N. Meyer of the US Department of Agriculture. Meyer collected seeds for Harvard University's Arnold Arboretum at an ancient temple which rest at 9,000 feet in elevation. Drought tolerant.
