Native to Russia and northern China, this is an excellent compact shrub for cold climates. Useful in mixed borders and foundation plantings. Introduced by Fort Collins Wholesale Nursery. Tips from the pros: This viburnum prefers loam but will tolerate clay or sandy soil. If needed, early summer-time pruning is advised as the flower buds are formed the previous growing season.
